Interactive Sales

Battery Interactive is seeking an experienced sales person with a successful track record of selling professional technical services and custom web solutions to demanding clients within a variety of industries.  Demonstrable web solutions sales, written and oral presentation skills and relationship management track record a must.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years experience creating sales opportunities and selling custom web and database development services.  We seek an individual motivated to actively generate leads and manage the resulting relationships.  He/She must be able to demonstrate technical competency as well as vertical expertise in higher education, publishing, online education or healthcare, author proposals and close business resulting in ongoing profitable relationships. 

The successful candidate must be able to propose, discuss, price and present database, ecommerce, interactive (web 2.0) tools and CMS solutions and must posses the ability to author consulting sales documents.  Our Sales Executives are responsible for pricing complex solutions, coordinating with project producers and internal team members, dialoguing with software engineers and setting client expectations. 

Client references and writing samples required.

Employment Terms: Upon hiring, candidate will be on a 3 month trial basis. The candidates’ performance will be reviewed after 3 months of the candidates start date.

  • Lead Generation and Client Sales

Client Relationship Building:
  • Manage client expectations and budgets
  • Direct client strategy meetings
  • Routine client follow-ups
  • Identify new opportunities inside client organizations

  • Provide proactive assistance to the Project Team
Strategic Consulting:
  • Research new technologies
  • Research industry trends
  • Proactively offer new ideas and strategies to clients
  • Consult with clients and formulate applicable technology solutions

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years outside and inside sales and client management experience
  • 2+ years selling media, website technologies to small, medium and large businesses (B2B)
  • 2+ years of experience in technology or new media
  • Strong knowledge of interactive media technologies and trends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint a plus
  • Strong presentation, writing and grammar skills
  • Technical writing experience a plus
