Battery Interactive , a full-service interactive agency located in lower Manhattan, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to become part of our growing team.

Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of project/account management experience within an agency or similar environment.The candidate must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects. Our team is exceptionally creative and enthusiastic, and our newest member should exhibit those qualities as well. The Project Manager must be a self-starter and possess strong organization, communication and writing skills.

Job responsibilities include:

• Writing project and creative briefs
• Managing client expectations
• Allocating project resources effectively—including in-house and freelance staff
• Developing and maintaining project and operational timelines

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of project/account management experience
• Creative problem-solver and strategic thinker
• Team player with ability to build strong relationships with team members and other functional areas

Compensation:

There will be significant client interaction, so the Account Manager must be comfortable and prepared to speak about the work we do—marketing strategy, branding, interactive and social media—to intelligently discuss deliverables from inception to completion. Experience as a project manager in an interactive is a plus but not required.
